Dr. Galt and his staff can perform many different services for patients, no matter their age. A younger individual may have teeth problems that are more common in an older person but there is nothing to worry about, a fix such as implants, crowns and bridges for missing teeth could be the answer.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Many people want tooth whitening or other cosmetic dentistry services to look their best. All services should begin with a good teeth cleaning and then whitening or other type of service could be performed on a person's teeth to bring forth their natural, more perfect smile.
Minor Tooth Movement
Dr. Galt could perform minor tooth movement to make corrections to crooked teeth, simple oral surgery and tooth extractions. This would include removing wisdom teeth that are not impacted and could be taken out in the office and not need a surgeon or hospital setting.
Periodontal Services and Dentures
Some older patients or those who have not had the fortune of taking care of their teeth may need periodontal services, dentures or partial dentures. These could be cast and fit in a day and picked up in a few days after the first appointment. Dr. Galt and his staff always make sure a patient is comfortable wearing their new teeth or mouth appliances before allowing them to leave the office. There are times in which a patient may not notice that something is wrong with their new teeth or appliance until a few hours or a day later, this is perfectly normal and Dr. Galt or someone on his staff will be happy to adjust them for the patient until they are comfortable wearing them all the time.
About the only dental services that Dr. Galt and his dental group cannot perform is orthodontics but he could recommend someone for this procedure. He would be able to remove some of the teeth that are over-crowding an upper or lower row of teeth if an orthodontist says they need to come out. But for braces made of metal, this is not his thing. A patient will have to make an appointment with one of the orthodontists on the list Dr. Galt has to recommend.
